REGULAR MEETING <br />AUGUST 28TH, 1950 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in regular session in the <br />Council Chamber, Monday, August 28th, 1950, at 10:00 P.M. with all members present. President Erler presided. <br />REPORT OF CCUMITTEE ON MINUTES <br />To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: <br />Your Committee on the inspection and supervision of the minutes, would respectfully report that they have <br />inspected the minutes of the previous meeting of the Council and found them correct. Motion <br />carried. <br />REPORT OF CITY PLAN COMMISSION <br />To the Common Council <br />City of South Bend, Indiana <br />Gentlemen: <br />Petition of Jacob Wild and Vincent K. Kaniewski for change of zoning of Lot 19 and Ej of Lot 20 in Evans Sub- <br />division of B.O.L. 88 together with the property on the south side of West Washington ,avenue for a distance of <br />173.85 feet east from the alley on the east side of the aforesaid Lot 19, from B residence and B height and area <br />districts to C commercial and E height and area districts has gone.through Public Hearing on August 3, 19509 <br />before the City Plan Commission and this change is recommended to the Council as requested in the petition. <br />This property is on the south side of !test Washington Avenue in the 1000 block and includes the Public Natatorium. <br />DM;ag <br />Yours truly, <br />D. Motion <br />carried. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 3774 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702 COMMONLY KNOWN AS <br />THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. <br />(Property on the south side of West Washington Ave. in the <br />r 1000 _block and includes the Public Natatorium) <br />The ordinance was given-first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Niezgodski made a motion <br />for suspension of rules. Councilman Glass seconded the motion. Motion carried by a roll call vote of 8 ayes - <br />0 nays• <br />The ordinance was given third reading and passed by'a roll call vote of 8 ayes - 0 nays. <br />
