REGULAR MEETING JANUARY 9th 1950 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in regular session in the <br />Council Chamber, Monday, January 9th, 1950 at 8s25 P.M. with all members present. President Erler presided. <br />%EPORT OF COMMITTEE ON MINUTES <br />To the Common Council of the City of South Bend <br />Your Committee on the inspection and supervision of the minutes, would respectfully report that they have <br />inspected the minutes of the previous meeting of the Council and found them correct. They therefore recommend <br />that the same be approved. <br />Meeting: January 2 , 1950 <br />WALTER C. ERLER ) . <br />CLEM NIEZGODSKI ) Committee <br />STANLEY KORPAL ) <br />The report of the Committee on inspection and supervision of minutes was accepted. <br />COMMUNICATION <br />South Bend City Council <br />January 9, 1950 <br />Gentlemen- <br />Vie, the petitioners requesting the re- zoning of the lots in Lincoln Manor for the purpose of building a <br />Union Hall,. wish at this time to with -draw our request for the rezoning of our lots. <br />Yours truly, <br />(Si geed) JAMES H. REED <br />Trustees of Bendier Local 9 <br />Councilman Niezgodski made a motion that the communication be placed on file and kept in the Clerk's office. <br />Councilman Bestle seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />COMMUNICATION <br />Transportation Committee of the City Council <br />City Hall December 23, 1949 <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Dear Sirs: <br />The St. Joseph County Industrial Union Council demands that the busses stop at each corner. Also we wish to <br />know when the waiting roosts that were promised the bus riders some time ago will be furnished. <br />Your sincere consideration of the bus riders in these matters will be greatly appreciated. <br />Respectfully yours, <br />(Signed) 0.
