584 <br />I� REGULAR MEETING OCTOBER 10TH, 1949 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 3720 <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE N0. 3702, AS AMENDED, WHICH <br />ORDINANCE -IS COMMONLY CALLED THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY <br />OF SOUTH BEND. (Northeasterly side of Portage Ave. from Golden <br />Ave. to Angela and the Southwesterly side of Portage Ave. <br />from the easterly side of Lot 3 in Bulla & Pattonta Add.) <br />The ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Tellson made a motion <br />for suspension of rules. Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. Motion carried by a roll call vote of <br />7 ayes - 1 absent (Kemper). <br />The ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 7 ayes - 1 absent (Kemper). <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE <br />ZONING CR DINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. <br />(Lot No. 262, Vassar Park Addition to the City of So. Bend, Ind.) <br />The ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Korpal made a motion <br />that the ordinance be referred to the -City Plan Commission. Councilman Tellson seconded the motion. Motion <br />carried. <br />RESOLUTION <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, which has jurisdiction over the <br />ares in which Project Me TVD. V -12223 of South Bend Veterans Project is located, that the waiver of the <br />removal requirements of Section 313 of the Lanham Act (Public Law 849, 76th Congress, as amended) with <br />respect to said Project is hereby specifically approved in accordance with the Independent Offices <br />Appropriation Act, 1950. <br />CLOYD BESTLE <br />Member of the Common 'Council <br />Councilman Niesgodski made a motion that the resolution be adopted. Councilman Tellson seconded the <br />motion. Motion carried. <br />There being no further business before the Council, Councilman Niezgodski made a motion to adjourn, which <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Tellson.
