Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in special session in the
<br />Council Chamber, on Monday, August 29th, 1949, at 7:10 P.M. Central Standard Time with all members present
<br />except Councilmen Kemper and Muszynaki. Chairman Korpal presided.
<br />ORDINANCE NO. 3715 (AMENDED)
<br />An Ordinance appropriating moneys for the purpose of defraying the expenses of all budget - operated departments
<br />of the Civil City of 6outh Bend, Indiana, for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 1950, and ending December
<br />31, 1950, including departments, funds and commissions for which money is appropriated, in whole or in part,
<br />from funds other than the general funds of said City, to wit: Street, Traffio and Park Departments, firemen's
<br />Pension and Policemen's Pension Funds, and the City Plan Commission: Providing that such approppriations shall
<br />include all outstanding claims and obligations: fixing the salaries of all City Officials and Amployees,
<br />repealing all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith: providing a time when the same shall
<br />take effect.

<br />Councilman Niezgodski made a motion that the Secretarial Help be reduced from $1,200.00 to $900.00, and
<br />Furniture and Fixtures from $300.00 to $150.00. Councilman Erler seconded the motion. Motion oarried.
<br />Councilman Niezgodski moved that the ordinance go to the Council favorable as amended. Councilman Glass
<br />seconded the motion. Motion carried.
<br />ORDINANCE NO. 3716 (AMENDED)
<br />An Ordinance fixing the Tax Levy for the year 1950 for the Municipal City of South Bend, Indiana.
<br />Councilman Niezgodski mooed that the ordinance go to the Council favorable as amended. Councilman Erler
<br />seconded the.motion. Motion carried.
<br />There -being no further business, Council adjourned at 7:50 P.M. Central Standard Time,

<br />You are hereby notified that under and by virtue of the authority vested in me by law as Mayor of the City of
<br />South Bend, in the State of Indiana, a Special Meeting of the Common Council of said Cit is hereby called to
<br />meet in the Council Chamber, in the City Hall at the hour of 7:00 o'clock P.M., Central tandard T1*6, on
<br />Monday, August 29, 1949, the same being the last Monday in August 1949 as provided for by law, for the purpose
<br />of considering and acting upon the following ordinances, to merit:
<br />"AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING MONEYS FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING
