REGULAR MEETING JUNE 13TH, 1949 ORDINANCE NO. 3703 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING CONTRACTS MADE AND ENTERED INTO ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, BY AND THROUGH THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY, AND CARL J. REINKE & SONS, $40,113.00; AND VICTOR TRIPPEL, $7,130.00, AND COLIP BROTHERS, INC., $1,945.00.. 561 The ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Glass made a motion for suspension of rules. Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. The ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Tellson made a.motion for suspension of rules. Councilman Glass seconded the motion. R•333, TIRES AND TUBES, DEPARTMENT OF WEIGHTS AND MEASURES; AND ALSO'THE SUM OF $50,00 FROM ACCOUVf NO, R -334, OTHER GARAGE AND MOTOR SUPPLIES, DEPARTMENT OF WEIGHTS AND MEASURES, TO ACCOUNT NO. R -251, REPAIRS OF CITY SCALES, DEPARTMENT OF WEIGHTS AND MEASURES, AND DECLARING AN EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCY. The ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Tellson made a motion that the ordinance be referred to the Committee of the Whole for Public Hearing on June 27th, 19490 at.800 P.M. Councilman Korpal seconded the motion. Motion carried. MOT IONS Upon motion of Councilman Kemper, seconded by Councilman Korpal, the mi tantee of the May 23rd meeting be e to read *that the zoning ordinance was given first reading by title only and not second reading in full'. Motion carried. Councilman Muszynski made a motion that the Streets and Alleys Committee contact proper officials in charge of maintenance for the painting of viaduct separations.
