REGULAR MEETING JUNE 13TH, 1949 Be it remembered that the Common Council of the Zty of South Bend, Indiana, met in regular session in the Council Chamber, June 13th, 1949, at 9:45 PeM* with all members present. President Erler presided at the meeting. The reading of the minutes of the previous meeting was waived. COWUNICATION Mr. Walter Erler Pres. City Council City Hall South Bend, Ind, Dear Sirs June 13, 1949 The South Bend Mishawaka Board of Realtors passed the following resolution at their regularly scheduled Friday June 10th meetings "Be it resolved that the City Council hold the proposed new city zoning ordinance in abeyance until such time as the zoning maps of the city are prepared ". Due to the fact that a 1aadical change in use is contemplated the Board believes that this procedure will best serve the citizens. WCG/rb Yours truly, (Signed) W. C. GAMMONS, Sec. Councilman Niezgodski made a motion that the communication be accepted and placed on file. Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. Motion carried. PETITION To the Honorable City Council South Bend, Indiana of the City '6f South Bend, Indiana May 6, 1949 Gentlemen: We, the undersigned owners in fee of lots 1- 2- 3- 4.5 °.in Mayas LaPorte Avenue Addition to the City of South Bend, Indiana, petition your - Honorable Body to consider the following proposed Amendment to Ordinance # 2331, whereby lots 1- 2 -3 -4=5 in Mayr's LaPorte Avenue Addition to the City-of South Bend, Indiana, would be changed from B use and A height and area to D use and E height and area.
