FEBRUARY 14Th, 1949 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in regular session in the <br />Council Chamber, February 14th, 1949, at 8:23 P.M. with all members present. President Erler presided. <br />The reading of the minutes of the previous meeting was waived. <br />REPORT OF CITY PLAN COMMISSION <br />To the Common Council <br />City of South Bend, Indiana February 4, 1949 <br />Gentlemen: <br />Petition of Leo A. and Bertha Lippman for change of zoning in Pinhook Manor ,Addition excepting Lots 1 and 22 <br />inclusive from "Af1 residence to "B" residence district was heard by the City Plan Commission at their regular <br />meeting February 3rd, 19499 <br />The City Plan Commission recommends that this change be made as petitioned for. <br />Councilman Niezgodski made a motion that the report be accepted. <br />Motion carried. <br />REPORT OF CITY PLAN COMMISSION <br />To the Common Council <br />City of South Bend, Indiana <br />Gentlemen: <br />D. MOOMAW, Secretary <br />Councilman Kemper seconded the motion. <br />February 4, 1949 <br />Petition of Post No, 1167, Veterans of Foreign bars Inc. for change of zoning of a portion of an unplatted <br />area adjoining North Side Boulevard near TRyckenham Drive from "B" residence district to Commercial has been <br />heard by the City-Plan Coaeaiesion. <br />This change is not recommended. <br />D. MOOMAW, Secretary <br />Councilman Tellson made a motion that the report be accepted. Councilman Glass seconded the motion. Motion <br />carried by a roll call vote of 5 ayes - 3 nays (Bestle, Niezgodski and Kemper). <br />REPORT OF CITY PLAN COMMISSION <br />To the Common Council <br />City of South Bend, Indiana <br />Gentlemen: <br />February 4, 1949 <br />Petition of Edward Olczak for change of zoning of Lots #632 and 633 in Summit Place 3rd Addition from <br />Commercial to Light Industrial district was heard by the City Plan Commission at their regular meeting <br />February 3, 1949. <br />The City P1an.Commission recommends that this change be made as petitioned for. <br />D. MOOMAW, Secretary <br />Councilman Korpal made a motion that the report be accepted. :Councilman Tellson seconded the motion. Motion <br />carried. <br />REPORT OF THE CITY CLERK FOR THE YEAR 1948 <br />The reading of the report of the City Dlerk for the year 1948 was waived. Councilman Glass made a motion <br />that the report be accepted. Councilman Bestle seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />REPORT OF THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT FOR THE YEAR 1948 <br />The reading of the report of the Building Department for the year 1948 was waived. Councilman Glass made a <br />motion that the report be accepted. Councilman Tellson seconded the motion.
