470 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, in the Budget of the City of South Bend, Indiana, for the year 1947, it was anticipated that the amount of Tw ty Thousand Dollars ($29;000.00) would be transferred from the City Water Works of said City to the General Fund of said City, and WHEREAS, in the Budget as finally passed and approved, such item was included and anticipated. NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that: 1. The proper officers of the City Water Works of South Bend, Indiana, be, and the same are hereby authorized and directed to transfer forthwith the sum of Twenty- Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) from and out of the funds of said Water Works to the General Fund of the City of South Bend. 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption by the Common Council and its approval by the Mayor. Wm J. Richardson Mem er of the Common Council of The City of South Bend, Indiana. Councilman Mirocha made a motion that the Resolution be adopted. Councilman McCarthy seconded the motion. Motion carried. Councilman Niezgodski made a motion that the Park Board allocate in their Budget just how much money they are going to spend on each park. Councilman Korpal seconded the motion. Councilma Niezgodski vrithdrew his motion and 'Councilman Korpal withdrew his second. Councilman "Niezgodski made a motion that the City Council in session requests that the Park Board increase the playground facilities especially in the residential areas where there are a number of children,and furthermore in making up their Budget that the Park Board show the appropriations and the amount of money they intend to spend on each park and what type of equipment they propose to install in each park.
