ORDINANCE NO. .3564 <br />AN ORDINANCE CREATING A POSITION OF ASSISTANT PLUMBING <br />INSPECTOR, APPROPRIATE FUNDS FOR THE SALARY OF AN ASSISTANT <br />PLUMBING INSPECTOR DURING THE DALANCE OF THE BUDGETARY YEAR <br />OF 1946: DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />The Ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 7 ayes- 0 nays - 2 absent <br />(Richardson and McCarthy) <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE S AFETY OF PERSONS AND PROPERTY <br />AND PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF PERMITS PROVIDING FOR INSPECTION <br />1-ND FOR RULFS AND REGULATION ?S GOVERNING ALL PLACES OF ASSEMBLY: <br />PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLS ^.TIONS: AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN <br />CONFLICT HEREWITH <br />The Ordinance was given first reading. Councilman Brannan made a motion that this Ordinance be held up <br />until the Fire Chief and the City Attorney are present to explain the Ordinance. Councilman Mirocha <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />Councilman Hull made a motip that the Superintendent of the Park Board, be notified to appear at the <br />next meeting of the Councir gar ,,,00r hat part'of the River Road at Pinhook which is gravel. Councilman <br />Niezgodski seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />Councilman Mirocha made a motion that the City Clerk ascertain whether there is a City Ordinance <br />prohibiting the blowing of train whistles within-the City and if so, that a letter be sent to the Grand Trunk <br />Railroad, calling their attention to this matter, especially the blowing of train whis*es at Arnold and <br />Olive Street.
