REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE OF THE 'WHOLE TO THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND: Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred an Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 2331, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South bend, Indiana (Bercliff Estate, Block "A") Respectfully report that the have examined the matter and that in their opinion this ordinance shall be reported favorably to the Council. Councilman Bishop made a motion that the report be accepted, Councilman Niezgodski seconded the motion. Motion carried.. REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE OF THE MOLE TO THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND: Your Committee of the R'hole to whom was referred an- Ordinance transferring $600.00 from the Street and Traffic fund of the City of South Send, Indiana, to an insur ance account in the budget of the Street Department of'said City, for the calendar year 1946 and appropriating said $600.00 for the use of said fund; declaring an emergency. Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion this Ordinance shall be reported to the Council favorably. Councilman Bishop made a motion that the report be accepted. Councilman McCarthy seconded the motion. Motion carried. AND SAFETY;.. THE FIRST BEING A CONTRACT WITH AMERICAN -LA FRANCE - FOAMITE CORPORATION FOR THE PURCHASE OF A CERTAIN PUMPING ENGINE VEHICLE FOR THE SUM OF $10,800.00,.. AND THE SECOND BEING WITH SOLLITT CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC. FOR`ALTERATIONS AND REPAAIRS TO THE CENTRAL FIRE STATION FOR THE SUM OF $69324.00. The Ordinance was given first and second reading.
