Jefferson Boulevard, 4U' Floor <br />South Bend, Indiana 46601 <br />RE; 2013 Century Center Capital Fund Additional Appropriation Request <br />Dear President Dieter, <br />Enclosed please find a bill for an additional appropriation in the amount of $246,770 in <br />Century Center Capital Fund ( #671). This bill requests an additional appropriation for <br />costs associated with purchasing critical items for food and beverage operations and <br />kitchen repairs at the facility as identified and requested by SMG Corporation. The <br />funding is provided by a capital contribution of $575,000 from SMG as per the contract. <br />I will be available to discuss this substitute bill with the Common Council at the <br />appropriate committee and council meetings. It is requested that this bill be filed for 1' <br />reading on August 12, 2013 with 2nd reading, public hearing and 3rd reading scheduled for <br />August 26, 2013. <br />Thank you for your attention to this request.
