AUTHORIZING BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, TO <br />SELL CERTAIN PERSONML PROPERTY. <br />WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Indiana, owns one horse - powered Oliver Mower, purchased in 1939, and of no further <br />use to the said city, and <br />WHEREAS, it is for the best interest of the city that said property be disposed of for the highest and best price <br />obtainable. <br />NOW, THE_REF0RE, ' BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that: <br />-1.- The Board of "Public Works and Safety of said city be, and the same is hereby, authorized <br />t.6 sell the said property above described. <br />2. The said Board shall conduct such sale in conformity with the requirements of the statutes <br />of the State of Indiana. <br />Dated at South Bend, Indiana, this day of September, 1944. <br />Councilman Bishop made a motion to adopt the resolution. Railroad be requested to appear before the Council <br />and report upon the progress of the installation of Arnold Street gates.
