Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in regular session in the Council <br />Chambers, City Hall, on Monday, September 25, 1944, at 7:30 P.M. with all members present except Councilmen Hull, <br />Brannan and Richardson. The reading of the minutes of the previous meeting was waiv <br />A card from the members of the Richardson family was ordered placed on file on motion of Councilman Heideman, second <br />ed by Councilman McCarthy. <br />A communication (in form of Resolution) from the South Bend Civic Planning Association Inc. requesting that the enti <br />rate structure of the bus companies be examined by the Common Council, and, if possible, the bus fares reduced, was <br />ordered accepted and placed on file on motion of Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Councilman Bishop. <br />A communication (in forgi of Resolution) from the South Bend Civic Planning Association, Inc. requesting that the <br />Common Council order the S.B. Motor Bus Co. and the No. Indiana Transit Co. to file with the Common Council a balanc <br />sheet and profit and loss statement for the year 1943 or the immediate past fiscal year, was ordered accepted and <br />placed on file on motion of Councilman McCarthy, seconded the Councilman.
