87 <br />Be it remembered that the members of the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in special session, <br />October 3, 1941, in the Council Chambers, City Hall at 5:08 P.M. with all members present. President Richardson <br />presided. <br />City of South Bend, Indiana <br />October 3, 1941 <br />NOTICE OF THE HOLDING OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE SOUTH BEND CITY COMMON COUNCIL. <br />TO: The Members of the Common Council of the City of South Bend: <br />Notice is hereby given that a special meeting of the Couth Bend City Common Council is hereby called to meet in the <br />Council Chambers of the South Bend City Hall at five o'clock P.M., Central Daylight Saving Time, on the 3rd day of <br />October,, 1941. <br />The purpose of calling said special meeting is for the consideration by the Common Council and the possible passage <br />of an ordinance whereby the Mayor and the proper officials of the City of South Bend are authorized to purchase that <br />real estate lying just South of the South B end city hall, the purchase of which real estate to be considered, being <br />separated from the city hall by an alley which runs along the South side of the said city hall. Said strip of land <br />is forty -four by one hundred and sixty feet. <br />There will be further considered the manner in which thA -zproperty is to be purchased, if at all, and the source from <br />which the money is to be obtained, if a purchase if finally authorized, <br />J.
