TO THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND:Your Committee of the <br />Whole, to whom was referred: <br />BILL NO. <br />13-03 A BILL AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE AND DESIGANTING <br />THE TWO (2) STREET LIGHTS CURRENTLY LOCATED AT 833 <br />NORTHSIDE BOULEVARD IN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA, LOCAL HISTORIC LANDMARKS <br />Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion, this bill is <br />being recommended to the full Council with a favorable recommendation with the following <br />amendments: <br />Council Attorney Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand offered the following amendments for consideration: <br />The title of the bill would read as follows: <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE AND <br />DESIGNATING THE TWO (2) STREET LIGHTS CURRENTLY <br />LOCATED AT 833 NORTHSIDE BOULEVARD IN THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND LOCAL HISTORIC LANDMARKS <br />2. Section 1. would read as follows: <br />The Historic Preservation Commission of South Bend and St. Joseph <br />County, after due study has recommended the designation of the two <br />(2) street lights currently located at 833 Northside Boulevard as <br />historic landmarks under Ordinance No. 5565-73. <br />3. The current Section 2. would be renumbered to Section 3. <br />4. New Section 2 would read as follows: <br />If the street lights are moved to another location in the future, said <br />lights shall remain historic landmarks at their new location. <br />Sean Coleman <br />Acting Chairman <br />
