ORDINANCE NO. ~~ l-~ AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE, AND DESIGNATING THE TWO (2) STREET LIGHTS CURRENTLY LOCATED AT 833 NORTHSIDE BOULEVARD IN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, LOCAL HISTORIC LANDMARKS STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT The Historic Preservation Commission of South Bend & St. Joseph County has petitioned for the designation of the following described structures and real property as an Historic Landmark, pursuant to Ordinance No. 5565-73, as amended, to wit: Two (2) cast iron residential design street lights formerly located on the streets of South Bend as local landmarks. The Historic Preservation Commission of South Bend and St. Joseph County, after due study, and in agreement with its present owners, has recommended the designation of the property as an Historic Landmark. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA as follows: Section I. The Historic Preservation Commission of South Bend and St. Joseph County, after due study, has recommended the designation of the two (2) street lights currently located at 833 Northside Boulevard as Historic Landmarks under Ordinance No. 5565-73. Section II. If the street lights are moved to another location in the future, said lights shall remain Historic Landmarks at their new location. Section III. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after it passage by the Common Council, approval by the Mayor, and publication.
