U! • <br />mm <br />RESOLUTION <br />RESOLUTION RELATIVE TO A CAR ALLOWANCN FOR THE CITY ENGINEER. <br />Whereas, the City Engineer, because of the added responsibility placed upon him by the necissity <br />of preparaing plans and supervising the building of interceptor severs has been shouldered with <br />additional responstbilties, and has been required to increase�5his staff, and, <br />Whereas, there is not sufficient motor equiptment in the engineering department to accommodate <br />the City Engineer and his field staff, the Engineer has been-.required to use his own automobile <br />in the performance of his duties as City Engineer, and <br />Whereas, this has resulted in considerable expense to the City Engineer, end <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of South lend, Indiana., <br />Section 1. The City Engineer be aliored the sum of $60.00 per month a.s a car allowance for the . <br />use of his automobile in-connection with his duties ^s City Engineer. Said sum to be paid out o� <br />Special WPA funds ^lloceted to the Engineering Department for WPA work. <br />Section 2.. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from End after its edoption and <br />approval by the Mayor. <br />Wm F. Pulaski <br />MEMBER OF THE COL51ION COUNCIL <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS. <br />A motion to rescind passage of Ordinance No. 3283 and set for public hearing on August 29th, 1G3! <br />was made by Councilman Pulaski and- second by Councilman Heideman.
