<br />of food, .both wholesale and retail, within the City of South Bend, and to provide for the in-
<br />spection of restaurants, lunch stands, groceries, meet markets, beer taverns, bakeries, cafes,
<br />dining rooms, ice creem perlors, public or private markets, stalls, shops, stores, storehouses,
<br />cold sto•rage plants, or where fish, oysters, birds, fowl, vegetables, fruits, milk, ices,
<br />beverages, -meat, meet food products, bake goods, or any other provisi ®n or food intended for
<br />consumption by human beings, is menufsctured, held, kept, stored, or offered for sale, dispost-
<br />ti,on', or other distribution as food for human beings.

<br />R E S O L U T I O N
<br />BE IT RESOLVED by Knights of Columbus, South Bend Council No. 553, that the Common_ Council of
<br />the City of South Bend be, and it is hereby membrialized and requested to adopt en eppropriete
<br />resolution to authorize and direct the Board of Public Safety of the City of South Bend end
<br />the Chief of Police of said City to permit said Knights of Columbus, South Bend Council No.
<br />553, to place a° Studebaker Sedan Automobile upon the streets of South Bend for the purposes of
<br />exhibiting said autpmobile in connection with a. bazaar to be sponsored by said: fraternal organ -
<br />ization February 23 to 26 inclusive, 1938, and for the sale of t&ckets to said affair, said
<br />authority to be granted for the following days, to -wit:
<br />December 27 to December 1, 1937 and January 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22,
<br />28 and 29, end February 5, 5, 11, 12, 18 and 19, 1938;
<br />said automobile to be parked at such places end during such hours as may be determined reason-
<br />ably safe and practical by the said City of South Bend.

<br />Councilmen Rasmussen moved to grsnt request. Councilmen Bierwagen seconded the motion.
<br />Councilmen Hull moved to amend resolution by changing City of South Bend to Boerd of Public
<br />Safety. Councilman Chambers seconded the motion. Motion carried.
<br />The resolution was passed by the following vote: Hull, Goetz, Bierwagen, James, Kerner, Ras-
<br />mussen and Palicki. 7 eyes. Fish and Chambers. 2 nays. Resolution adopted.
<br />There.being no further business Councilman Hull moved to adjourn. Councilmen Chambers seconded
<br />the motion.. Motion carried. Council adjourned at 9 :00 P. M.
