5. � 16 <br />ORDINANCE NO. -3230 <br />An Ordinance appropriating Five Hundred Twenty -Five Dollars ($525.00) from the General <br />Fund of the City of South Bend, Three Hundred Dollars of same to Account P -19 in the Police. <br />Department for General Supplie$, Twenty -Five Dollars ($25.00) to Account N -7A in the Cemetery <br />Department for Gasoline and Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) to the Special Judge Account of the <br />City Judge's Office, Account E -5. <br />The Ordinance was given its third reeding by title and was placed upon its passage and pass <br />ed by the following vote: Hull, Bierwegen, Kerner, Fish, Chambers, Rasmussen and Palicki. <br />7 eyes. 0 nays. Ordinance adopted. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 3232 <br />An Ordinance emending Ordinance #3039 establishing councilmanic districts-in the City of <br />South Bend by dividing said.City into six such councilmanic districts, and fixing their bound- <br />aries, and providing for the use of voting machines in elections for nominating and electing <br />officers of said city, and repealing a.11'Ordinences and parts of ordinances in conflict therewit.. <br />The Ordinance w2s given its first reeding by title, its second reeding in full end on motto <br />of Councilmen Chambers was referred to the Election Committee and that- they.r eport back to the <br />council at the next meeting, on October 11th. Councilmen Rasmussen seconded the motion. Motio n <br />carried. <br />On motion of Councilman Chambers, President Fish appointed the Traffic Committee to cooperate <br />with the County Commissioners in rerouting trucks through the City of South Bend. <br />There being no further business, Councilman Chambers moved to adjourn.
