<br />AUGUST 9th, 1937
<br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the-City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the
<br />regular session in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, Monday evening, August 9th, 1937, at
<br />the hour of 7 :45 P. M. All members were present except Councilman Goetz. President Fish pres-
<br />iaed. Councilman Hull moved to disperse with the reading of the minutes for the last few meet-
<br />ings. Councilman Chambers meconded the motion. Motion carried.

<br />passed by the following vote: Hull, Bierwagen, James, Kerner, Fish, Chambers, Rasmussen and
<br />Palicki. 9 ayes. 0 nays. Ordinance adopted Ps amended.

<br />Pension Fund of the City Government of the City of South Bend, Indiana, for the fiscal year be-
<br />ginning January 1, 1938, and ending December 31, 1939, including all outstanding claims and
<br />obligations, and fixing a time when the same shall take effect.
<br />The Ordinance was given its first reading by title, its second reading in full and on
<br />motion of Councilmen Chambers was referred to the Committee of the Whole end also that s public
<br />hearing be held on .August 23rd, 1937. Councilman Hull seconded the motion. Mlotion carried.

<br />ye^r beginning January 1, 1938, end ending December 31, 1938, including all outstanding claims
<br />end obligations end fixing a time when the same shall take effect.
<br />The Ordinance was given its first reading by title, its second reading in full and on
<br />motion of Councilman Chambers was referred to the Committee of the Whole and also that a r.ublic
<br />hearing be held on August 23rd., 1937. Councilman Hull seconded the motion. Motion carried.

<br />the same shall take effect.
<br />The Ordinance was given -its first reading by title, its second reading in full and on
<br />motion of Councilman Null was referred to the Committee of the Whole and also that a public
<br />hearing be held on August 23rd, 1937. Councilman Kerner seconded the motion. Motion carried.

<br />tions, and fixing a time when the same shell. take effect.
<br />The Ordinance was given its first reading by title, its second reading in full end on
