<br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Ind ipna, met in the
<br />regular session in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, Mondsy evening, March 8th, 10,37,
<br />r.t the hour of 7:30 P. M. All members were present except Councilman Rasmussen. President
<br />Fish presided. Councilman Chambers moved that the reading of the minutes for the last meeting
<br />be dispensed with. Councilmen Hull seoncded the motion. Motion carried.
<br />CERTIFICATION OF POSTING NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS

<br />three thousand dol].nrs from the General Fund of the ¢ity of South Bend. to account under the
<br />Boerd of Public !forks for repair of Fire Stations, this sum being the emount necessary to meet
<br />the bids of the proposed. improvement to #2 fire station ir_ dxcess of the ninety-five hundred
<br />dollars appropriated in the 1937 budget.
<br />Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and thet in their opinion should be re-

<br />Councilman Chambers moved that the communication be sent to the Executive Committee of the
<br />Sewage Disposal Plent. Councilman James moved to amend Councilman Chambeā¢s motion that said
<br />Metter be placed on file and a copy be sent to the committee. Councilmar Chambers seconded the
<br />motion. Motion carried.
<br />Cou ncilmpn Hull reported on Ordinance No. 3190 which was referred to the Committee on Ordinances.
<br />That the committee has met several times rith the Health department and the plumbers, and that
<br />spid ordinance be tabled.
