MINUTES <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of.the City cf Saath Bend, Indiana, met in the <br />Regular Session in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, Monday evening, October 12th, 1936, <br />at the hour of 7:35 P. M. All members were present except Cazncilman.Hull. President Fish <br />presided. Co...zncilman Goetz moved thAt the reading of the minutes for the last meeting be dis- <br />pensed with. Councilmen Chambers seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />COMMUNICATIIONS: <br />CITY PLAN COMMISSION <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />To the Common Council <br />City of South Bend, Ind. <br />Gentlemen: <br />10 -5 -36 <br />Petition for change of zoning classification of lots 27, 2L5, 29 and 30 Leepers 2nd. <br />add. was considered at the meeting of the City Plan Commission Oct. 1, 1936 and this change <br />is not recommended. <br />Yours truly, <br />D. Motion carried. <br />STATE OF INDIANA <br />OFFICE OF THE STATE BOARD OF TAX COMMISSIONERS <br />In the matter of additional <br />appropriations for the city <br />of South Bend, St. Joseph <br />County, Indiana. <br />No. 1066. <br />October 10, 1936. <br />A petition having been filed by the proper legal officials of the City of South Bend, St. Joseph <br />County, Indiana., in the matter of additional appropriations in the sum of $36,493.00; and; <br />This matter having been set for hearing on October 7th, a,t 10:30 A. M., report having been made <br />and this board having fully considered all the facts does now afirm said additional appropria- <br />tions in an amount not to exceed $25,000.00, as follows: ' <br />The sum of $25,000.00 from the General Fund of the Park Fund, as provided in Ordinance No. 3155 <br />is effirmed*on condition that the natatorium shall be made available at specified times each <br />week for the exclusive use of the colored inhabitants of South Bend, the proper City officials <br />and members of the Park Board to agree to such provisions before any money is expended under th3it <br />appropriation. <br />The sum of $11,493.00, as provided in Ordinance No. 3156, is hereby denied. <br />STATE BOARD OF TAX COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIANA <br />PHILIP ZOERCHER, Chairman <br />dl <br />
