REGULAR MEETING JUNE 22nd, 1936 <br />MINUTES <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of Swath Bend, Indiana, met in the <br />Regular Session in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, Monday evening June 22nd, 1936, at the <br />hour of 95:35 i- M. All members were present. President Fish presided. Councilman Hull moved <br />that the reading of the minutes for the last meeting be dispensed with. Councilman Goetz second- <br />ed the motion. Respectfully report that they heve examined the matter and that in their opinion should <br />be reported favorable. Geo. W. Goetz, Chairmen. <br />The report was accepted. by the Council and ordered to be placed on file. Motion cerried._ , <br />REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE <br />To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: <br />Your Committee of the Whole to whom wes referred an Ordinance fixing the selaries of certain <br />City Officials and-employees of the municipal City of South Bend, Indiana, and repealing all <br />ordinances and parts of Ordi:nences in conflict therewith. Respectfully report that they have <br />examined the matter and. thst in their opinion should be reported favorable. Geo. W. Goetz, Chair <br />man. <br />The report was accepted by the Co�jncil and ordered to be placed on file. Motion carried. <br />REPORT OF THE STREET COMMISSIONER: <br />A report of the W. P. A. activities end expense for the month of March, 1936 was read. <br />Councilman Hull moved it be eccepted and placed on file. Councilmen Kerner seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried. <br />REPORT OF THE STREET COMMISSIONER: <br />A' report of the work done by the Street and. Sever Departments was read for the months of <br />April and May, 1936 <br />Councilman Hull moved they be accepted end placed on file. Councilman Rasmussen seconded the motic <br />Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE N0. 1 <br />An Ordinance appropriating the sum of One Hundred Dollars from the General Fund of the City <br />of South Bend, Indiana, toithe Board of Public storks. <br />jhe Ordinance was given its third reading by title and was placed upon its passage and passed <br />by the following vot4: Hull, Goetz, Bierwagen, James, Kerner, Fish, Chambers, Rasmussen and <br />Palicki. Ayes 9 Nays 0. Ordinance Adopted. <br />ORDINANCE N0. 13 64 <br />An Ordinance fixing the salaries of certein city officials and employees of the municipal <br />city of South Bend, Indiana, and repealing all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict <br />there *ith. <br />The Ordinance was given its third reading by title and was placed upon its passage and paes- <br />ed by the following voter Hull, Goetz, Kerner, Fish, Chambers, Rasmussen and Palicki 7 ayes. <br />Bierwagen, end James 2 nave. Ordinance adopted. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 3166 <br />An Ordinance appropriating the sum of $100.00 from the General Fund of the City of Soiith <br />Bep.d to account numbered S -2 under the Electrical Department for temporary salaries for the <br />balance of the year 1936: also the sum of $75.00 from the Generel Fund of the City of South Bend <br />to account numbered S -7 for Gasolene for said.
