<br />An Ordinance authorizing the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana, to
<br />condemn and appropriate Lands Between North Shore Drive and -The Northern City Limits for the
<br />extension of North Michigan Street from said Drive to said Limits, all as shown and proposed
<br />in said Board's Condemnation Resolution No. 2461, 1934.
<br />The Ordinance-was given its third reading -by title, and was placed upon its passage and
<br />passed by the following vote: Nelson, Whiteman, Rokop, Goetz, Hull, Jaworski, Brennan, Oakley,
<br />Fiwek, -Cripe and Gustin, Ayes 11, Nays 0. Ordinance adopted.

<br />Repair Departrtett, the Engineering Department and The Building Department of said City.
<br />The Ordinance was given its first.reading by title, its second reading in full and on
<br />Motion of Councilman Rokop The Ordinance was referred to the Committee of the Whole,also that
<br />a Public Hearing-be held December 10th,_ 1934 at 7:30 o'clock P.M. Motion carried.

<br />Office Supplies - Weights and Measures Department (Account R -4) to Public Safety.

<br />Motion of Councilman Hull was referred to the Committee of the Whole, also that a Public
<br />Hearing be- held,December 10th, 1934 at 7:30 o'clock P. M. Motion carried.

<br />Hearing beheld .December klOth, _1934 at 7 :30 o'clock P. M. Motion carried.

<br />Motion of Councilman Oakley the Rules were suspended by the following vote: Nelson, Whiteman,
<br />Rokop, Goetz, Hull, Jaworski, Brennan, Oakley, Fiwek, Cripe and Gustin, Ayes 11, Nays 0. Rules
<br />were suspended and Ordinance goes to third reading.'

<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL of the City of South Bend, State of Indiana, that
<br />the City Contyoller of said City is hereby authoriz-ed-.and directed to pay on the 20th day of
<br />December, 1934, all monthly- S-aleries,of * Officials and Employees of said City, becoming due
<br />for the Month of December, 1934-
<br />On Motion of Councilman Goetz the. Resolution was adopted. Motion carried.
