<br />dated October 22 29.- I am_.not quite clear, however, as to the relation of your-letter and your
<br />resolutions to relief work. The rate of relief wagesits to be determined by local wage rate
<br />committees. The personnel of these committees is: a reapresentative of labor, a representative
<br />of the relief admin.istratilni, and a representative of business. This committee finds out what t e
<br />prevailing rate of wages is for any trade classificaion in the community, and its-findings, if
<br />unanimous, are the rates to.be paid.
