' <br />ORDIATANCE NO 064. <br />An Ordinance Transferring certain slims from Subdivision in the City Clerks Office, the <br />City Controller's Office and the Offices of the Board of Public Safety to other .subdivisions <br />in the same* Department. <br />The Ordinance was given its third reading by title, and was placed upon its passage and <br />passed by the following vote: Whiteman, Goetz, Hull, Jaworski, Altfeld, Hiss, Oakley, <br />Grzeskowiak, Cripe and Gtistin, Ayes-- 1i0, .Nays 00' Ordinance adopted. <br />ORDINANCE'NO. <br />An Ordinance Transferring the sum of Seven Hundred Dollars ($700.00) from Salagy account <br />#S -1 to Supplies- General Account #S-12 in the EbBotrical Department of the City of outh <br />Bend, Indiana. <br />The Ordinance was given its first reading *-title, its second reading in-full and on <br />Zotion of Councilman Altfeid was referred to the Committee of the Whole, also that a Public <br />Hearing be held July 23rd, 193+ at 7:30 o'clock P: M. Motion carried. <br />RESOLUTION. INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMAN I. M. GRIPE. <br />WHEREAS, Howard C. Magner was,.for a number of years, a member of the Police Department <br />of the City of South Bend, Indiana, and during this time rendered faithful and efficient <br />service in the protection of liven and property of people in this city;-and, <br />• WHEREAS, on thr 30th day of June, 1934 officer Wagner, was z killed in line of duty in <br />apprehending one of the bandits' in connection with the hold-up of The Merchants National <br />Bank,- of South Bend, Indiana:' <br />THEREFORE, BE -IT RESOLVED BY THE _MEMBERS OF THE "COMMON- COUNUIL of the City of South <br />Bend, Indiana, that the valient services of officer Magner be gratefully remembered by the <br />members of.this Council and that their condolence be forwarded to the bereaved family of <br />the deceased. <br />BE IT FURTHER-'RESOLVED that this resolution be adopted by the Common Council and <br />spread upon its records. <br />On Motion of Councilman Cripe the Resolution was adopted by a standing vote 'of the <br />Councilman.
