<br />Special Session in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, Monday evening at the hour of
<br />9 :30 o'clock P. M. All Members present except Councilman Hull. President Nelson`p3esided.` •

<br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND
<br />TO THE MEMBERS OF THEN 60MMON-COUNOIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND INDIANA. '
<br />You are hereby notified.:that under and by virtue of the authority by law vested in us as
<br />Councilmen of the-City of South Bend, 6f the State of Indiana, a special meeting of the Common
<br />Council of said city is hereby called for 9 :30 o'-clock p.':.m. , on Monday February 6, 19339
<br />or as soon thereafter as convenient following a meeting of the Committee of the whole of said �_ •
<br />Council on said evening, for the purpose of considering action upon the following ordinances
<br />resolution:
<br />ORDINANCEN2 NO. 1. An ordinance transferring the sum of four hundred ninety- four ($494.49)
<br />dollars and nine cents from the amount hitherto appropriated to the office of the city Control Ler
<br />in the Finance Department for office supplies to Advertising and Publication of notices in the
<br />same department.
<br />ORDINANCE NO*, 2 An Ordinance. transferring the sum of Forty ($40.) dollars from an appropriat on-
<br />of the Department of Finance to another appropriation in the same department.
<br />RESOLUTION: Whereas, the City Sinking Fund is not sufficient to pay obligations presently due;
<br />and
<br />Whereas, The Department pf Public Parks is able to spare enough to meet this
<br />deficiency to -wit, Fourteen Hundred and One Dollars and Sixty -six cents ( #1,441.66) and is
<br />willing to loan the same to the City for a period not to exceed July 1st,. 1933, the City to
<br />reimburse said Department with such interest-as would accrue to it if it allowed said fund to
<br />remain.in its depository.
<br />RESOLVED, THAT the City Controller be authorized to receive from said Department
<br />of Public Parks the said sum of Fourteen Hundred and One Dollars and Sixty -six cents ($1,401.6
<br />upon the terms - stated.

<br />The Ordinance was given itsnfirst reading by title, its second reading in full and on
<br />Motion of Councilman Whiteman the Rules were suspended by the following vote: Nelson, Whiteman
<br />Rokop, Goetz, Jaworski ( Altfeld being absent from Council Room when voting* took place) Hiss,
<br />Oakley, Grzeskowiak, Cripe and Gustin, Ayes 10, Nays O. Rules Suspended and.Ordinance goes
<br />to third reading.'

<br />passed by the following vote: Nelson, Whiteman, Rokop, Goetz, Jaworski (Altfeld akxan absent
<br />as stated above) Hiss, Oakley, Grzeskowiak, Cripe and Gustin. Ayes 10, Naps 0. Ordinance adopt
<br />ORDINANCE N0. 30 14.
