GRZESKOWIAK. <br />The Polish - American Central Civic Committee, representing 63 duly organized societies in <br />the West,City Community of this city, assembled in a special plenary session Tuesday evening, <br />March 15, in the Falcon hall, 1105 Western:Avenue, has adopted without a dissenting vote the. <br />following resolution: <br />WHEREAS: The New York Central ra -11road has wilfully broken its may prftises and <br />assurances and a duly signed and ratified contract with the City of South °Bend and broken faith <br />with the people of thesaid city with regard.to the extension of its track elevation on the West <br />Side,'to be started March 1st, pleading inability to obtain funds for financing the project <br />without making an honest attempt to seek such loan; and ( See page 132) <br />SIP <br />
