<br />NOTICE OF DETERMINATION TO ISSUE GENERAL PURPOSE BONDS BY THE MUNICIPAL CITY OF-SOUTH BEND,INDI
<br />]notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of the Municipal City of South Bend, St. Joseph
<br />County, State of Indiana, that the Common Council and Mayor of the City of South Bend, Indiana,
<br />Ordinance No.' 2975 duly passed on then5th., day of February, 1932,and approved by the Mayor of
<br />said city on the said 8th.,.-day of February. 1932, have determined to issue General Purpose Bon
<br />of said city in the principal sum of Four Hundred Thousand Dollars ($400 000.00), said bonds to
<br />bear interest at the rate of not to exceed, five and one -half percent.(; -%) per annum and to mat
<br />as follows: First $100,000.00 on July 2nd ;',1937,; second $100,000.00 in series of $20,000.00 ea
<br />year beginning on July 1, 1942; third $1009000000 io series of $20,000.00 each year beginning o
<br />July 1, 1947, and the remaining $100,000.00 in series of $20,000.00 each year beginning on
<br />July 1, 1952.
<br />The proceeds of said bonds shall be used for the payment of costs to the said city for tra
<br />elevation.
<br />Ten (10) or more taxpayers, other than those who pay poll tax only, who feel themselves
<br />aggrieved by such determination may appeal to the State Board of Tax Commissioners for further
<br />action by filing a petition therefor with the St: Joseph County Auditor on or before the
<br />expiration of twenty -nine (29) days from February 9,1932. In the event of such appeal the Stat
<br />Board of Tax Commissioners will fix the time and date for a hearing in said city.'
