Jaworski, WHEREAS, on July 4th of the present year, in the City of Poznan, in the Republic.of Poland, a monument to the memory of Woodrow Wilson will be unveiled in recognition of the greet services rendered,by gur late.Chief Executive to the oppressed nations of Europe, through his promt1gation of the doctrine of self — determination of nations; and WHEREAS, such manifestation of gratitude to the American nation on the part of the lately liberated people of Poland tends to improve and strengthen the economic, diplomatic and cultural relations existing between the two friendly nations; therefore be it RESOLVED, that His Honor, the Mayor, of the City of South Bend, Indiana, be requested to transmit on behalf of the City of South Bend, Indiana to the authorities of the City of Poznan, Republic of.Pblaf.d, a message of good will and felicitation on that historical occasion.
