<br />Your Committee on the inspection and supervision of the minutes, would respectfully report
<br />that they have inspected the minutes of the previous meeting of the Counciband found them

<br />To the Common Council of the City of South.Bend:
<br />Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred An ordinance amending Section 4 and Seoticas
<br />814 a to 822, inclusi =ve, of Ordinance No.' 2243, being an ordinance regulating all matters
<br />concerning or-pertaining to the.Construction, Alteration, Repairs or Additions to Remodeling,
<br />Use or Occupancy of Buildings or their Parts Structures of every Nature in the City of South Be
<br />Indiana; Providing for Condemnation and - .Stoppage of.the use thereof, and Wrecking of the same.'
<br />Creating the Offices of Building Commissioner, Assistant Building Commissioner and City
<br />Electrician, and Providing for the Office of the Building Department.' Repealing all former
<br />Ordinances conflicting therewith, adopted by the Common Council of the City of South,Bend,
<br />March 27, 1922-and approved by the Mayor March :�x 30, 1922 and published April 6th, of the
<br />same year, commonly know# as the Building Code of tha City of South Bend, Indiana; and enacting
<br />and adding to said Ordinance, Sections 823 and 8240 espectfully report that they have examined
<br />the matter, and that in their opinion the said Ordinance should be reported favorable as

<br />An Ordinance appropriating the sum of Forty Two Hundred Dollars ($40200:100) from the
<br />General Fund of the City of South Bend, Indianan, to the Department of.Public Works of the City
<br />of South Bend, Indiana: -
<br />The Ordinance was given its first reading by title, its second reading in full and on
<br />Motion of Councilman Hull was referred to the Committee of the Whole, also that a Pub3.e Hearin

<br />RESOLUTIOl.
<br />WHEREAS, The - American L6gcbon Post No: 50 of South Bend, Indiana, proposes to hold a boat
<br />•
<br />race on the St Joseph River on Sunday afternoon, June 7th or 14th2 1931, and
<br />WHEREAS the purpose of said boat race is to accumulate funds to promote The American
<br />Legion Post X No: 50 activities in the elimination of unsanitary condition of the St: Joseph
<br />Raver; and
<br />WHEREAS, in order to effectually xxii realize any funds by reason of said boat race it is
<br />necessary to charge asmall admission fee to the place and / or places of vantage along the
<br />proposed route of said boat race; and
