<br />To the Common Council of the City of South-Bend:
<br />Your Committee -of the Whole to whom was referred An Ordinance to amend Section 31 -A of
<br />Ordinance No. 2806 adopted:by -the Common Council `the 11th day of November.1929 and being
<br />an Ordinance amending " Ordinance No. 2752 known as an Ordinance to License'and Regulate Taxi -c
<br />owners and Taxicab rivers, etc. By creating and adding thereto three new sections; to be number
<br />31 -A, 31 -B, 31 -C ". respectfully report tjcat they have examined the matter, and that in their
<br />opinion the said - Ordinance should be reported Favorable as amended. John C. Nelson, Chairman.
<br />The report was accepted by the Council.

<br />Gentlemen: We are transmitting herewith a Report of a "Sanitary,tSurvey of the Mishawaka -South
<br />Bend Section of the St. Joseph River, including z- conclusions drawn from the survey and
<br />ecommendationabased thereon.
<br />hese recommendations should receive serious consideration and step sr be taken toward compliance
<br />therewith without undue delay, in order that action-upon . the part of the State Board of Health

<br />An Ordinance ratifying a certain contract between the City of South Bend, Indiana, by and
<br />through its Board of Public Works: and the Lynchburg Foundry Company, Lynchburg, Virginia, for
<br />the p, rchase of Cast Iron Pipe.
<br />The Ordinance was given its third reading by title and was placed upon its passage and
<br />passed by the following vote: Fegan, Whiteman, Rokop, Hull, Altfe.ld, Oakley, Grz.eskow ak,
<br />Cripe and Gustin, Ayes 9, Nays; -0.. Ordinance. adopted.
