Hunt Deputy Director To: Member of the Common Council — Yo From: a C� ycker,ut Bureau Re: Enclosed Appropriations Ordinance Date: June 21, 1978 219/284 -9335 The Youth Service Bureau has been granted a contract through Title XX for the fiscal period July 1, 1978 through June 30, 1979 in the amount of $21,184. The services contracted for will be reimbursed to the Youth Service Bureau on a monthly basis. It is my intent to use Title XX monies to supplement existing funding for the Youth Service Bureau as revenue sharing appropriated for 1978 does not cover all expenses incurred by the Youth Service Bureau annually. Part of the funds are already designated for activities such as the camper - ship program and the purchase of uniforms for camp participants. Another part of the money will be used to pay a stipend to Penn State University interns who help organize and operate the various recreation activities of the bureau.
