AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $251,592.00 FROM THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT, COMMONLY KNOWN AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING, FOR THE CITY'S ONE -THIRD SHARE OF THE E -3 AND E -5 CODE ENFORCE- MENT PROGRAMS, TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, THROUGH ITS DEPT. OF ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: Funds are now needed to pay the City's proportionate share of the Northeast and Model Cities Code Enforce- ment projects as Were agreed to by the Common Council in 1971. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The slue of $251,592.00 is hereby appropriated for the year 1978 from the Federal Assistance Grant Fund commonly known as the General Revenue Sharing Trust Fund. This appropriation is to be administered by the Dept. of Administration and Finance as set forth below: PROGRAM FA 154 E -3 & E -5 CODE ENFORCEMENT PROJECTS Account Description Amount 260.0 Other Contractuals $251,592.00 Total FA 154 $251,592.00 SECTION II.
