P94 <br />REGULAR MEETING OCTTOBER 23_, 1967 <br />4. It is desired and requested that the foregoing property be reznned: <br />From C -2 Planned Shopping Center Use and A Height and Area District <br />To B Residential Use and A Height and Area District. <br />5. It is proposed that the property will be put to the following use and the following building will be <br />constructed. <br />A single story brick Nursing and Extended Care facility for.the <br />care of recuperating and invalid patients to accommodate 150 <br />patients and a staff of 15 administrative and nursing personnel. <br />(Single story residential type structure already in use at <br />Northwest corner as Real Estate Office.) <br />6. Number of off street parking spaces to be provided. <br />69 spaces to be provided for new Nursing Home <br />(25 parking spaces already provided in connection with <br />Real Estate Office.) <br />7. Attached is a copy of: a.) an existing plot plan showing my property and other surrounding properties; b.) <br />names and addresses of all the individuals, firms or corporations owning property within 300 feet of <br />the property sought to be rezoned; c.) site development plan. <br />/s/ George O. Jefferson Blvd. <br />South Bend, Indiana 46601 <br />Councilman Allen made a motion that the petition be referred to the Area Plan Commission. Councilman <br />Palmer seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />PETITION <br />We, the undersigned, do hereby respectfully make application and petition the Common Council of the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana, to amend the zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend, Indiana, as hereinafter <br />requested, and in support of this application the following facts are shown: <br />1. The property sought to be rezoned is located at: <br />Commencing at the north line of the first alley north of East Jefferson Boulevard at its <br />intersection with Logan Street, and thence running north and fronting on the west side of <br />Logan Street to the South line of Marshall Street. <br />2. The property is owned by <br />The Belmont Addition lots by Yeager Motor Co., Inc. <br />and the Anthony's Addition lots by Don Newman and <br />Mary Louise Newman, husband and wife. <br />3. A legal description of the property is as follows: <br />Lots Numbered Twenty(20), Twenty -one (21), Twenty- two(22 and Twenty- three-(23) as shown on the recorded <br />plat of Belmont addition to the City of South Bend; and Lots Numbered Four (4), Five (5) and Six (6) as <br />shown on the recorded plat of Anthony's Addition to the City of South Bend. <br />4. It is desired and requested that the foregoing property be rezoned: <br />From A Residential Use and A Height and Area District <br />To C Commercial Use and D Height and Area District. <br />5. It is proposed that the property will be put to the following use and the following building will be <br />constructed. <br />non - covered sales lot or area for sale of new and used automobiles; a <br />single sales office will be erected on the site, 10 feet by 20 feet in <br />size, to be located as shown on the site development plan attached. <br />6. Number of off street parking spaces to be provided <br />Such number as shall be recommended and required by the Area Plan Commission. <br />
