493 <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS TO ACCOUNT <br />U -21, "COMMUNICATION AND TRANSPORTATION" IN THE AMOUNT <br />OF $2,500.00 AND TO ACCOUNT U -22, "HEAT, LIGHT, SEWAGE <br />AND WATER ", IN THE AMOUNT OF $6,200.00 AND THE TRANSFER <br />OF SAID SUMS`FROM ACCOUNT U -71, "BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES <br />AND IMPROVEMENTS" AND ACCOUNT U -72, "EQUIPMENT ", IN . <br />THE CENTRAL SERVICES BUILDING BUDGET, ALL BEING IN <br />THE GENERAL FUND. <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents <br />were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. Speaking in favor of the Ordinance were James A. <br />Bickel, City Controller and Eugene Zimmer, Municipal Services Manager. Councilman Hunter made a <br />motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Laven seconded the motion. Motion <br />carried, 5 ayes, (Councilmen Hunter, Allen, Palmer, Laven and Smith) 1 nay, (Councilman Szymkowiak), <br />3 absent, (Councilmen Wise, Geib and Muszynski). <br />There being no further business before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Allen made a motion <br />to rise and report to the Council.
