a <br />PETITION <br />PETITION TO ANNEX <br />CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE CITY <br />OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />TO: The Honorable Common Council <br />of the City of South Bend, Indiana <br />The undersigned hereby petitions your Honorable Body to annex to and bring <br />within the City of South Bend, Indiana the following described property located <br />in St. Joseph County, State of Indiana which is contiguous to lands now within <br />such city: <br />Commencing at the Northwest corner of the Southwest Quarter <br />(k) of the Southwest Quarter (k) of Section 20, Township 37 <br />North, Range 3, East; thence East 1,500 feet; thence South <br />435.6 feet; thence West 1,500 feet to a point on the West <br />line of said Section 20 which is 435.6 feet South of the <br />place -of beginning; thence North 435.6 feet to the place of <br />beginning. <br />Said real estate is located on the East side of Ironwood Road and <br />is located immediately South of and adjacent to the existing boundary <br />of the City of South Bend, Indiana in the vicinity of Topsfield Addition <br />to the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />The undersigned constitutes the owner of all of the above described property which is requested to <br />be annexed. <br />Executed this 28th day of April, 1967. <br />TOPSFIELD DEVELOPMENT CORP., <br />an Indiana Corporation <br />By: /s/ Richard A. AMOUNT OF- $500.00 AND THE - TRANSFER IN THE SAME AMOUNT FROM ACCOUNT K -26, "OTHER CONTRACTUAL <br />SERVICES ", IN THE MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM BUDGET ALL BEING IN THE GENERAL FUND.
