REGULAR MEETING pril 24-1967 PETITION (Continued) ninety -four (94), ninety- five(95), and ninety -six X96 ) as shown on the recorded Plat of Lincoln Manor, Second Addition to the City of South Bend, in St. Joseph County, Indiana. 4. It is desired and requested that the foregoing property be rezoned: From A height and area district to C -1 Commercial and A Height and area district. 5. It is proposed that the property will be put to the following use and the following building will be constructed: A building will be erected to house the operations of the AAA Federal Credit Union Pursuant to the alternate site plan provided herewith, the building will be used for the offices of the petitioner, AAA Federal Credit Union , Inc., and for its credit union.business, which is essentially in the nature of a bank business. 6. 23 off - street parking spaces to be provided. 7. Councilman Allen seconded the motion. Motion carried. ANNUAL REPORT OF HOUSING AUTHORITY The Clerk submitted the Annual Report of the HousingAuthority. Councilman Laven made a motion that the Housing Authority-provide each of the councilmen with a copy of their report, and that acceptance of such report will be deferred until a future meeting. Councilman Allen seconded the ;mot:ibn;. Motion carried. CONTROLLER'S REPORT FOR 1966 The Clerk submitted the Report of the City Controller for the year 1966. Councilman Smith commended the staff who had compiled the report on an excellent job. Councilman Geib made a motion that the report be accepted and placed on file. Councilman Szymkowiak seconded the motion. Motion carried. REPORT OF COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION;40 OF..THE MUNICIPAL CODE:'OF_THE.CITY OF SOUTH BEND,` INDIANA., 1962, AS AMENDED, ALSO-KNOWN AS ORDINANCE NO. 3702, THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS AMENDED (Location: East side of York Rd., 1237.25 feet South of the center line of Jackson Rd. and commonly known as Southeast Estates.) " Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. /s/ Edwin Thomas Smith, Chairman There being no objections, the report was accepted as read, and placed on file.
