REPORT OF COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO AND BRINGING WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA CERTAIN LANDS AND PROVIDING, AFTER ANNEXATION SHALL TAKE EFFECT, THAT FOR A PERIOD OF THREE YEARS ONE -HALF (2) OF THE MUNICIPAL PROPERTY TAXES TO BE IMPOSED UPON THE ANNEXED TERRITORY SHALL BE IMPOUNDED AND PLACED IN A SPECIAL FUND SOLELY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE ANNEXED TERRITORY (Land bounded by Ireland Rd., U.S. 31, U.S. 31 Interchange, Jackson School Property and Miami Rd. )" Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. /s/ Edwin Thomas Smith, Chairman Councilman Geib made a motion that the report be accepted and placed on file. Councilman Szymkowiak seconded the motion. Motion carried. REPORT OF COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF $44,017.90 BY THE WATER WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA FOR THE PURCHASE OF WATER METERS FROM THE NEPTUNE METER COMPANY DURING THE CALENDAR YEAR 1967" Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. /s/ Edwin Thomas Smith, Chairman Councilman Geib made a motion that the report be accepted and placed on file. Councilman Szymkowiak seconded the motion. Motion carried. REPORT OF COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF $19,239.62 BY THE WATER WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA FOR THE PURCHASE OF WATER METERS FROM THE HERSEY- SPARLING METER COMPANY DURING THE CALENDAR YEAR 1967" Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. /s/ Edwin Thomas Smith, Chairman Councilman Geib made a motion that the report be accepted and placed on file. REPORT OF COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF $20,194.80 BY THE WATER WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA FOR THE PURCHASE OF WATER METERS FROM THE BADGER METER MANUFACTURING COMPANY DURING THE CALENDAR YEAR 1967" Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. /s/ Edwin Thomas Smith, Chairman Councilman Geib made a motion that the report be accepted and placed on file. REPORT OF COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN THE (1) MUNICIPAL BONDS OF 1962 -- $147,983.79 AND (2) MUNICIPAL BONDS:OF 1965 -- $62,506.94" Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. /s/ Edwin Thomas Smith, Chairman Councilman Geib made a motion that the report be accepted and placed on file.
