ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION <br />TO ACCOUNT Q -451, "PARTS OF EQUIPMENT ", IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $2,000.00 AND THE TRANSFER OF THE <br />SAME FROM ACCOUNT Q -251, "REPAIRS TO BUILDINGS <br />AND STRUCTURES ", ALL BEING IN THE GENERAL FUND. <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were <br />given an opportunity to be heard thereon. Fire Chief Cecil McHenry spoke in faw r of the Ordinance. Councilman <br />Palmer made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Muszynski seconded the <br />motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND CONFIRMING A COMMUNITY <br />ANTENNA TELEVISION FRANCHISE CONTRACT BETWEEN THE <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY OF THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND, AND VALLEY CABLEVISION CORPORATION. <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were <br />given an opportunity to be heard thereon. Speaking in favor of the Ordinance, was Louis Chapleau, Attorney. <br />Councilman Szymkowiak made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Laven <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />There being no further business before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Geib made a motion to rise and <br />report to the Council. Councilman Wise seconded the motion.
