SPECIAL MEETING AUGUST 1 1966 <br />ORDINANCES, FIRST AND SECOND READING (Continued) <br />The Ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Smith made a motion <br />that the Ordinance be given public hearing on August 29, 1966, and that it be properly advertised. Councilman <br />Laven seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE, FIRST AND SECOND READING <br />AN ORDINANCE LEVYING TAXES AND FIXING THE RATE OF <br />TAXATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF RAISING REVENUE TO MEET <br />THE NECESSARY EXPENSE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING <br />DECEMBER 31, 1967 <br />The Ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Smith made a motion <br />that the Ordinance be given public hearing on August 29, 1966, and that it be properly advertised. Councilman <br />Laven seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />Councilman Smith made a motion that an informal hearing be held on the above Ordinances immediately <br />following the regular meeting of August 22, 1966. Councilman Palmer seconded the motion. Motion carried <br />6 ayes (Councilmen Hunter, Palmer, Wise, Szymkowiak, Laven and Smith) 1 nay, (Councilman Allen) 2 absent, <br />(Councilmen Geib and Muszynski) <br />There being no further business to come before the Special Meeting of the Council, Councilman Smith made <br />a motion to adjourn.
