ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION <br />TO THE GAS ACCOUNT OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />BEING ACCOUNT NO. Q -222 IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$3,000.00, SAID SUM BEING TRANSFERRED FROM <br />THE COAL ACCOUNT OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, <br />SAID ACCOUNT BEING Q -311 <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were <br />given an opportunity to be heard thereon. Ch=ief Cecil McHenry of the Fire Department explained the need for <br />the Ordinance. Councilman Szymkowiak made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. <br />Councilman Palmer seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702 <br />COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF <br />THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. (Location: <br />296 feet North of McKinley and Hickory Rd. <br />Intersection) <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were <br />given an opportunity to be heard thereon. Speaking in favor of the Ordinance was Mr. William Hosinski, <br />attorney for the petitioner. Councilman Hunter made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as <br />favorable. Councilman Wise seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 40, SECTION 40 -14 <br />OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA, 1962, ALSO KNOWN AS ORDINANCE NUMBER <br />3702, ADOPTED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, ON THE 14th DAY OF OCTOBER <br />1963, AND KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE IN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND. <br />(Location: North and West Corner of,Edison and <br />Ironwood) <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents <br />were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Hunter made a motion that the Ordinance go to <br />the Council as favorable. Councilman Palmer seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />There being no further business before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Laven made a motion to rise <br />and report to the Council. Councilman Hunter seconded the motion.
