I'. t. <br />REGULAR MEETING MAY 9, 1966 <br />REPORT OF AREA PLAN COMMISSION <br />May 2, 1966 <br />The Honorable Common Council <br />City of South Bend <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Gentlemen: <br />The attached rezoning petition of Mrs. Cary Roach, et al, was legally advertised under date of April 9, 1966 <br />and given public hearing on April 19, 1966. The following action was taken: <br />After due consideration it was moved by Mr. Taylor, seconded by Mr. Miller and <br />unanimously carried that the petition and site development plan be recommended <br />unfavorably to the Common Council. <br />The deliberations of the Area Plan Commission and points considered in arriving at the above decision are <br />shown in the excerpts of the minutes attached hereto and made a part of this report. <br />Very truly yours, <br />/sl J. The following action was taken: <br />After due consideration it was moved by Mr. Helvie, seconded by Mr. Bowers <br />and carried that the rezoning ordinance and site development plan be recom- <br />mended unfavorably to the Common Council. <br />The deliberations of the Area Plan Commission and points considered in arriving at the above decision are <br />shown in the excerpts of the minutes attached hereto and made a part of this report. <br />Very truly yours, <br />/s/ John K. Main Street <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Dear Mrs. Blough: <br />Re: Petition to amend zoning ordinance <br />as filed by Ora J. Stahl, Edward J. <br />Sikora and Crest Manor Development <br />Corp. <br />On behalf of Ora J. Stahl, Edward J. Sikora and Crest Manor Development Corp., we previously filed with <br />your office a petition to amend the South Bend, Indiana zoning ordinance concerning a parcel of realty <br />located on the easterly side of York Road and commencing approximately 400 feet south of the south line <br />of Jackson Road in South Bend, Indiana. <br />We now desire to withdraw this petition. We respectfully request that the Common Council of the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana and your office accept this letter as the..request of Ora J. Stahl, Edward J. Sikora <br />and Crest Manor Development Corpr to withdraw said petition. If any additional acts are required in this <br />regard, please telephone me accordingly. <br />Very truly yours, <br />/s/ Warren E. McGill <br />Councilman Smith made a motion that the letter be accepted and placed on file and that the petition not <br />be submitted for at least six months. Councilman Geib seconded the motion.
