?62 <br />COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF CERTAIN <br />ITEMS OF PERSONAL PROPERTY BELONGING TO THE MUNICIPAL CITY <br />OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, TO THE AREA PLAN COMMISSION OF <br />ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, INDIANA, FOR A SUM EQUAL TO THE APPRAISED <br />VALUE OF SAID ITEMS OF PERSONAL PROPERTY. <br />OCTOBER 11, 1965 <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the .above ordinance, proponents and opponents were <br />given an opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Hunter made a motion that the following items: <br />1 wooden desk, 2 wooden tables and one 1964 Blue Studebaker be deleted from the list of items to be sold <br />and that the ordinance then go to the Council as favorable, as amended. Councilman Wise seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS TO THE OTHER <br />EQUIPMENT ACCOUNT OF THE RADIO DEPARTMENT IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $725.00 AND THE TRANSFER OF THE SAME FROM <br />THE SERVICES - PERSONAL ACCOUNT OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, <br />ALL IN THE GENERAL FUND, <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above ordinance, proponents and opponents were <br />given an opportunity to be heard thereon. Speaking for the ordinance and explaining the reason for a need of <br />.additional appropriations in his department, was Mr. Hunt, of the Radio Department. <br />Councilman Muszynski made a motion that the ordinance.go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Palmer <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS TO THE OTHER <br />SUPPLIES ACCOUNT OF THE RADIO DEPARTMENT IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $1,000.00 AND THE TRANSFER OF THE SAME <br />FROM THE SERVICES - PERSONAL ACCOUNT OF THE POLICE <br />DEPARTMENT, BEING ACCOUNT P -11, ALL IN THE <br />GENERAL FUND. <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above ordinance, proponents and opponents were <br />given an opportunity to be heard thereon. Mr. Hunt of the Radio Department spoke in favor of the ordinance <br />and explained the reason for the additional appropriations. Councilman Wise made a motion that the <br />ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ZONING ORDINANCE <br />NO. 3702, (1605 NORTH SHERIDAN STREET) <br />Due to the fact that this ordinance was not legally advertised prior to the meeting, a public hearing could <br />not be held at this time. Councilman Szymkowiak made a motion that the ordinance be set for public hearing <br />on October 25, 1965, and legally advertised. Councilman Wise seconded the motion.
