?62 COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF CERTAIN ITEMS OF PERSONAL PROPERTY BELONGING TO THE MUNICIPAL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, TO THE AREA PLAN COMMISSION OF ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, INDIANA, FOR A SUM EQUAL TO THE APPRAISED VALUE OF SAID ITEMS OF PERSONAL PROPERTY. OCTOBER 11, 1965 This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the .above ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Hunter made a motion that the following items: 1 wooden desk, 2 wooden tables and one 1964 Blue Studebaker be deleted from the list of items to be sold and that the ordinance then go to the Council as favorable, as amended. Councilman Wise seconded the motion. Motion carried. ORDINANCE ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS TO THE OTHER EQUIPMENT ACCOUNT OF THE RADIO DEPARTMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $725.00 AND THE TRANSFER OF THE SAME FROM THE SERVICES - PERSONAL ACCOUNT OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, ALL IN THE GENERAL FUND, This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. Speaking for the ordinance and explaining the reason for a need of .additional appropriations in his department, was Mr. Hunt, of the Radio Department. Councilman Muszynski made a motion that the ordinance.go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Palmer seconded the motion. Motion carried. ORDINANCE ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS TO THE OTHER SUPPLIES ACCOUNT OF THE RADIO DEPARTMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,000.00 AND THE TRANSFER OF THE SAME FROM THE SERVICES - PERSONAL ACCOUNT OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, BEING ACCOUNT P -11, ALL IN THE GENERAL FUND. This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. Mr. Hunt of the Radio Department spoke in favor of the ordinance and explained the reason for the additional appropriations. Councilman Wise made a motion that the ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. Motion carried. ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702, (1605 NORTH SHERIDAN STREET) Due to the fact that this ordinance was not legally advertised prior to the meeting, a public hearing could not be held at this time. Councilman Szymkowiak made a motion that the ordinance be set for public hearing on October 25, 1965, and legally advertised. Councilman Wise seconded the motion. Motion carried.
