241P COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING SEPTEMBER 27, 1965 ORDINANCE ORDINANCE FORAWITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO THE PROPERTIES ACCOUNT OF THE WEIGHTS AND MEASURES DEPARTMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $270.00 This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Szyymkowiak T9A*e a motion that the ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Wise seconded the motion. Motion carried, ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 11 OF CHAPTER 26 OF ORDINANCE NO. 4608 -68, BEING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, 1962, RELATING TO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES BEING PROHIBITED IN CERTAIN PLACES, AND SUBSTITUTING NEW SECTIONS IN LIEU OF THOSE REPEALED. Due to the fact that this Ordinance was not advertised because of insufficient time, Councilman Alien made a motion that the ordinance be referred to the Legislative Committee. Councilman Wise seconded -the motion. Motion carried. ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 16, SECTION 28 OF ORDINANCE NO. 4608 -63, BEING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,INDIANA, 1962, REVOKING ANY AND ALL PROVISIONS IN CONFLICT THEREOF. (Transporting materials from outside to within the city.). This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. Councilman Geib made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Szymkowiak seconded the motion. Motion carried. There being no further business to come before motion to rise and report to the Council and to Whole feting adjourned at 8 :30 P.M. ATTEST the Committee of the Whole, the Chair will entertain a recess to the Caucus Room.
