ORDINANCE NO. 4738 - -65 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702 (Donald St., Sampson St., Ewing Ave. and Twyckenham Drive) The ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 7 ayes - 2 absent (Councilmen Hunter and Glass). ORDINANCE NO. 4740 - -65 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702 (Twyckenham Drive, Calvert St., Leer St. and Ewing Ave.) The ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 7 ayes - 2 absent (Councilmen Hunter and Glass). REPORT OF CITY PLANNING COMMISSION April 6, 1965 The Honorable Common Council City of South Bend South Bend, Indiana Gentlemen: The attached petition of Jake and Rose Weingarten to rezone from "A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area to "C -1" Commercial Use and "B" Height and Area District a rectangular parcel 125 feet North and South by 200 feet East and West lying 726 feet North of the intersection of McKinley Highway and Hickory Road, and abutting Hickory Road was legally advertised under date of Febr uary 12, 1965 and given public hearing on April 1, 1965. The following action was taken: After due consideration the Commission found that the proposed rezoning would be in the best interest of the IIII subject property. ORDINANCE, FIRST & SECOND READING AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO AND BRINGING WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS ii OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, CERTAIN LANDS (East of Miami Road, South of Ireland Road, North of Jackson Road, and contiguous with the present city limits on the north and east sides) The ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Smith made a motion that the ordinance be set for public hearing on April 27, 1965. Councilman Geib seconded the motion. Motion carried. ORDINANCE FIRST & SECOND READING AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO AND BRINGING WITH THE CITY LIMITS OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, CERTAIN LANDS (Rectangular parcel of land on east side of York Roast commencing approximately 370 feet south of Jackson Road) The ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Geib made a motion that the ordinance be set for public hearing on May 10, 1965. Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. Motion carried. ORDINANCE, FIRST & SECOND READING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702 COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE (3401 Lincoln Way West) The ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Szymkowiak made a motion that the ordinance be set for public hearing on May 10, 1965. Councilman Geib seconded the motion. Motion carried.
