REGULAR MEETTNG ruiac�n cc, i7v� REPORT OF COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: March 22, 1965 Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION FROM THE GENERAL FUND AND TRANSFERRED TO THE BUILDING DEMOLITION REPAIR AND CONTINGENT,FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $7,500.00".. Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion this ordinance go to the Council adfavorable. /s/ Edwin Thomas Smith, Chairman Councilman Szymkowiak made a motion that the report be accepted and placed on file. Councilman Palmer seconded the motion. Motion carried. ORDINANCE N0, 4734 - -65 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 3702 (Marine St., Mumford Court, Miami St., Bowman St. and Indiana Ave.) The ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll, call vote of 8 ayes - 1 absent (Councilman Glass) - it ORDINANCE NO. 4735 - -65 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702 (Leer St., Marine St., Mumford Court, Indiana Ave. and Bowman St.) The ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 8 ayes - 1 absent (Councilman Glass). ORDINANCE N0, 4736 - -65 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702 (Twyckenham Drive and Vernon St., Leer St., Indiana Ave. and N.Y. Central Railroad and Calvert St.) The ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 8 ayes - 1 absent (Councilman Glass). ORDINANCE N0, 4737 - -65 AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION FROM THE GENERAL FUND AND TRANSFERRED TO THE BUILDING DEMOLITION REPAIR AND CONTINGENT FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $7,500.00. The ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 8 ayes - 1 absent (Councilman Glass). RESOLUTION NO. 95 - -65 RESOLUTION FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN THE ELECTRIC CURRENT ACCOUNT OF THE CITY PLAN COMMISSION IN THE AMOUNT OF $100.00 AND THE TRANSFER OF THE SAME FROM ANOTHER ACCOUNT IN THE SAME CATEGORY DF THE CITY PLAN COMMISSION; SAME BEING A TRANSFER BETWEEN TWO ACCOUNTS IN THE SAME CATEGORY, BOTH BEING IN THE CITY,PLAN COMMISSION FUND. WHEREAS, Certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption of the existing annual budget, so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget for the various functions of.-.City Government to meet such extraordinary contingencies; and WHEREAS, Electric utility service is necessary to assure its ability to properly perform its function and the sum of $100.00 is needed forthwith; and WHEREAS, A surplus exists in another account where it is not presently needed at this time; and more specifically) as follows, to -wit: 1. One-hundred Dollars ($100.00) in Account 241 designated as printing other than office supplies. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, That the sum of $100.00 be transferred to Account No. 221 designated as Electric Current by transferring it from the following account, to -wit: 1. One hundred Dollars :($100.00) from Account 241, which said account is in the same category of the City Plan Commission. /s/ Richard G..Geib Member of the Common Council. NEW BUSINESS: President Hunter announced that the meeting of the Council scheduled for April 26th would be moved to April 27th.
