REGULAR MEETTNG ruiac�n cc, i7v� <br />REPORT OF COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE <br />To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: <br />March 22, 1965 <br />Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION FROM THE GENERAL <br />FUND AND TRANSFERRED TO THE BUILDING DEMOLITION REPAIR AND CONTINGENT,FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $7,500.00".. <br />Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion this ordinance go to the Council <br />adfavorable. <br />/s/ Edwin Thomas Smith, Chairman <br />Councilman Szymkowiak made a motion that the report be accepted and placed on file. Councilman Palmer seconded <br />the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE N0, 4734 - -65 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 3702 <br />(Marine St., Mumford Court, Miami St., Bowman St. and Indiana Ave.) <br />The ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll, call vote of 8 ayes - 1 absent (Councilman Glass) - <br />it <br />ORDINANCE NO. 4735 - -65 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702 <br />(Leer St., Marine St., Mumford Court, Indiana Ave. and Bowman St.) <br />The ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 8 ayes - 1 absent (Councilman Glass). <br />ORDINANCE N0, 4736 - -65 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702 <br />(Twyckenham Drive and Vernon St., Leer St., Indiana Ave. and N.Y. <br />Central Railroad and Calvert St.) <br />The ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 8 ayes - 1 absent (Councilman Glass). <br />ORDINANCE N0, 4737 - -65 <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION FROM THE GENERAL <br />FUND AND TRANSFERRED TO THE BUILDING DEMOLITION REPAIR AND <br />CONTINGENT FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $7,500.00. <br />The ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 8 ayes - 1 absent (Councilman Glass). <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95 - -65 <br />RESOLUTION FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN THE ELECTRIC CURRENT <br />ACCOUNT OF THE CITY PLAN COMMISSION IN THE AMOUNT OF $100.00 AND <br />THE TRANSFER OF THE SAME FROM ANOTHER ACCOUNT IN THE SAME CATEGORY <br />DF THE CITY PLAN COMMISSION; SAME BEING A TRANSFER BETWEEN TWO <br />ACCOUNTS IN THE SAME CATEGORY, BOTH BEING IN THE CITY,PLAN COMMISSION <br />FUND. <br />WHEREAS, Certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption of the existing annual budget, so <br />that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget for the various <br />functions of.-.City Government to meet such extraordinary contingencies; and <br />WHEREAS, Electric utility service is necessary to assure its ability to properly perform its function and the <br />sum of $100.00 is needed forthwith; and <br />WHEREAS, A surplus exists in another account where it is not presently needed at this time; and more specifically) <br />as follows, to -wit: <br />1. One-hundred Dollars ($100.00) in Account 241 designated as printing other than <br />office supplies. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, That the sum of $100.00 be <br />transferred to Account No. 221 designated as Electric Current by transferring it from the following account, <br />to -wit: <br />1. One hundred Dollars :($100.00) from Account 241, which said account is in the <br />same category of the City Plan Commission. <br />/s/ Richard G..Geib <br />Member of the Common Council. <br />Resolution adopted by a roll call vote of 8 ayes - 0 nays - 1 absent (Councilman Glass). <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br />President Hunter announced that the meeting of the Council scheduled for April 26th would be moved to April 27th. <br />There being no further business before the Council, Councilman Geib made a motion to adjourn.
