4: � Mi • REPORT OF CITY PLANNING COMMISSION February 17, 1965 The Honorable Common Council City of South Bend South Bend, Indiana Gentlemen: The attached petition of the City Planning Commission to rezone from "B" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District to "A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District the property generally described as being bounded on the East by Twyckhnham Drive and Vernon Street, on the West by Leer Street, on the North by Indiana Avenue and the N.Y. Central Railroad, and on the south by Calvert Street was legally advertised under date of January 25, 1965 and given public hearing on February 4, 1965. The following action was taken: After due consideration the Commission found that the predominant use in the subject area is single family residential. It was therefore duly moved, seconded, and unanimously carried that the petition be recommended favorably to the Council. Very truly yours, CITY PLANNING COMMISSION Robert L. Huff, cf /s/ Director of Planning RLH /cf attach. Councilman Muszynski made a motion that the report be accepted and placed on file. Councilman Wise seconded the motion. Motion carried. "B" Residential Use and "A" Height and and Area District to "A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District the property generally described as bounded by Calvert Street on the North, by Twyckenham Drive on the East, Ewing Avenue on the South, and Leer Street on the West was legally advertised under date of February 12, 1965 and given public hearing on February 23, 1965. The following action was taken: After due consideration the Commission found that the predominant use in the subject area is single family residential. The following action was taken: After due consideration the Commission found that the proposed zoning would be in the best interest of the subject area. It was therefore duly moved, seconded, and unanimously carried that the petition be recommended favorably to the Council. Very truly yours, CITY PLANNING COMMISSION Robert L.
