tZV <iV 1.I1 GV, 17VJ <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in Regular Session in the Council <br />Chambers in the City Hall on Monday, August 26, 1963, at 10:57 P.M., with all members present. The meeting was call <br />to order by President Joseph T. Kroll, who presided. <br />ROLL CALL <br />PRESENT: Councilmen Kroll, Allen, Ladewski, Tellson, Coleman, Glass, Krueper, Lehman and Muszynski. <br />ABSENT: None. <br />REPORT OF COMMITTEE'ON MINUTES <br />To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: <br />Your Committee on the inspection and supervision of the Minutes, would respectfully report that they have inspected <br />the minutes of the previous meeting of the Council and found them correct. Noble, City Clerk <br />Dear Freda: <br />August 12, 1963 <br />I wish to acknowledge the "Resolution" received in honor of "Jack" Voelkel. I feel very proud and honored. <br />Jacks life touched a million people and feel sure you will all miss him but no one as greatly as I do. <br />He was the finest gentleman and husband and always tried to do good for his fellowman. Councilman Allen <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />PETITION <br />Petition of Wilford V. Walz as administrator of the estate of Dean Tasher to rezone land at the southeast corner of <br />Michigan and Donmoyer Streets. <br />Councilman Coleman made a motion that the petition be referred to the City Planning Commission. Councilman Allen <br />seconded the motion.
