SPECIAL MEETING <br />= __, tti t _---- _________________________= <br />JULY 29, 1963 <br />Be it remembered that the Council met in Special Session in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, on Monday, <br />July 29, 1963, at 8:47 P.M., with all members present, the date having been set by the Council at the July 22, <br />1963 meeting of the Council. The meeting was called to order by President Joseph T. Kroll, who presided. <br />ROLL CALL <br />PRESENT: Councilmen Kroll, Allen, Ladewski, Tellson, Coleman, Glass, Krueper, Lehman and Muszynski. <br />ABSENT: None. <br />REPORT OF SANITATION OFFICER <br />Member of the Common Council <br />Gentlemen: <br />July 26, 1963 <br />Herein is a report of my activities in regards to the compliance of the Weed Ordinance. As of this date, July 26, <br />I have received the followong complaints and have had compliance to the ordinance as follows: <br />Number of complaints 148 <br />Cut by owners 80 <br />Cut by Street Department 19 <br />To be cut by St. Joseph County 15 <br />Complaints pending 34 <br />Total 148 <br />In addition there were 360 parkways and 24 lots cut by the Street Department during the month of June. <br />In the event that the City of South Bend through its Street Commissioner effects the removal of such obnoxious grow <br />or has paid for its removal, the actual cost hereof, plus accrued interest at the rate of six (6%) per cent per ann <br />from the date of the completion of the work, it not paid by such owner prior thereto, shall be charged to the owner <br />
